Summary: Our Shining Day (2017) celebrates traditional Chinese music by showing how young people can preserve cultural heritage while adapting it to modern influences. Through the rivalry between traditional and classical music students, the film explores prejudice, pride, friendship, and the struggle to prove that tradition can still shine in a changing world. Although the inconsistent focus on Chen Jing and Xiao Mai weakens the story, its energetic performances, humor, and fusion of traditional music with modern elements make it an enjoyable and meaningful watch. ``` By Alunauwie ```
